Internal Time Keeping

• Equipped with a backup clock and a primary time-of-day clock that are accurate to a +/- 10-20 seconds-per-week.
• Real Time Clock Accuracy and Count Down Timer Accuracy is certified by an independent laboratory.
• Features a 365-day calendar/Real Time clock with a five-minute power fail backup/recovery during battery exchanges/replacement.
• Ability to program for automatic daylight savings time changes in a given calendar year.
• Time-of-day clock is automatically re-synchronized to the handheld computer’s time-of-day clock during data transfer.

Power Source

• Can operate for a period of 12 months or more depending on usage, hours of operation and the actual operating environment.
• Power is supplied by a rugged, 3-cell battery pack using standard 1.5 V “C” cell alkaline batteries welded together, shrink wrapped and having an attached waterproof automotive type connector.

Front and Rear Displays

• High contrast and high visibility Liquid Crystal Display(LCD) technologies.
• LCD has programmable time-of-day/duration and back light for effective night-time operation and uses low power mode to extend operational usage.
• 16 x 80 pixel graphic display (14 mm x 43 mm), capable of displaying five large, easy to read, graphic characters such as No Parking and low battery icons. Can display graphics plus other customer specified messages, including messages in multiple languages.
• Large and highly visible rear display - 2.5 cm (1 inch) x 7.5 cm (3 inches) Flashes red and silver to indicate “Time Expired” or solid silver for valid parking time.

Data Transfer and Smart Card Interface (SCI)

• Transfer of coin audit data via SCI in less than 3 seconds, which includes an individualized coin count as well as clock date re-synchronization.

• Fully compliant to IS07816-1,3,4 T=O and T=1 protocols.
