Flexibility and Choice 

• Citation+™ Web software is a USER FRIENDLY package allowing the flexibility to access all of your ticketing information via a web browser with security based access to the system.
• The system can be hosted at the customer's location or by MacKay’s hosting facility.
• Citation+™ Mobile software allows our customers the ability to operate our electronic ticketing system using Batch uploading, Wireless uploading or Cellular uploading of the ticket information. The communication is your choice.

Mobile Software

• Citation+™ Mobile software comes complete with many citation-related lookup lists, including provinces or states, violations, municipal by-laws, and vehicle makes and models.
• Software enforces multi-level password protection to ensure data security and integrity.
• License plate numbers can be cross-referenced against the database for identification of stolen vehicles and outstanding fines. The user is prompted for the required information based on the action associated with the scofflaw.
• Provides electronic chalking of vehicles with valve stem position recording for Timed Parking enforcement.
• Validates permit holders, plate types with immunity to specific violations, and vehicles with temporary parking restrictions.
• The system records separate transaction records for each citation created, issued, or cancelled, as well as many other events that can then be used to track the activity of agents by date, by district, etc.
• Data entry screens are presented in an intuitive manner as to allow the Parking Enforcement Officer to efficiently capture information such as license plate number, vehicle description, location, and infraction code.
• User-friendly screens with built-in data validation for critical fields promote less chance for incorrect data at the point of issuing; i.e. illegible writing, wrong street address, etc.
• Reduce data entry errors: tickets issued electronically are downloaded directly into the Citation+™ database.
• Mobile database uses Microsoft® SQL server technology.
• Pre-printed tickets are fully customizable. Tickets come in 3-inch or 4-inch widths.

Payment Processing

• Payment processing options include online cashiering, integration with external cashiering systems and/or Internet eCommerce payment systems.
• Easy to use cashiering screen, designed for quick and accurate data entry.
• On-line lookup of ticket history and status; by ticket number, plate number, name, drivers' license and/or VIN.
• Ability to record payments, reversals and transaction adjustments.

Collection Processing

• Tracks the fine increments based on flexible user-defined collection sequences.
• Enables user to assign customized collection sequences based on the territory and/or violation.
• Cancellation of tickets with authorized user rights.
• Interfaces to local, provincial or state, federal and/or private agencies for fine collection and information exchange (e.g. DMV).

Court Administration

• Schedules and tracks trials and appeals relating to parking tickets.
• Provides court docket and offender notice printing.
• Record trial and interview results including disposition, trial notes, and adjustments to fines and due dates,
• Electronic filing with local, provincial or state and federal court offices.
• Automated (or manual) conviction information entry.
• Ability to produce conviction strikeouts.
• Generate trial, appeal, and interview scheduling reports.

Handheld Requirements

• The Citation+™ Mobile software can be configured to accommodate most mobile devices and Bluetooth® printers:
  •  Windows Mobile® 5.0/6.0 (Smartphone also)
  • Windows CE.NET 5.0 or higher
  • Pocket PC 2003
  • Not Palm OS or Blackberry
• Ticket printing utilizes Bluetooth®.
