Free Time Button Meter / 2 Bay Button Meter

The MacKay Guardian X-Series mechanisms also come with a “free time button” or “2 bay button” option.  The free time button X-series mechanism allows the user to press the button to give them a certain amount of free time on the meter.  This option is ideal for locations where people only need a few minutes to park and run into a business. It also does not require the business to validate parking.  Longer parking time requirements would accept coin or smart card payment as needed.  The amount of free time is programmed to your needs.

The mechanism can also be configured to support 2 Bays.  The user simply presses the button to select either Bay 1 or Bay 2 to add time and then inserts payment.  This configuration is ideal for covering two adjacent spaces where meter space is limited or you require a solution with a lower hardware cost.
